One of the things we are enjoying about Canada is what's not there. We don't see dead animals along the roads. Between the towns of Banff and Lake Louise are a number of these wildlife crossings. Apparently the first two were so successful (80% reduction in mortality) that more are being built.

Soon we will have them in the US, as Washington state is designing them for I-90.

How neat! We have some in Wyoming,but they arent nearly as huge! They certainly did not have any of those on my last trip!
